Responsibilities
To work in :
1) Instrument Cluster
2) Switches
3) Infotainment System, Radios, Navigation, Speakers & Antennas
4) FATC/HVAC Electrical & Electronics system
5) Body Control Module, Immobilizer,Alarm system.
6) ECU's for Power train, Chassis Systems, Active & Passive Safety Systems and it’s sensors

7) Vehicle level integration of Electrical & Electronics aggregates"
Electrical & Electronics systems definition and technical project management from concept stage to production for Electrical & Electronics aggregates / systems
To lead a team of engineers for New Aggregate/sub system development OR Vehicle level Integration of Electrical & Electronics aggregates
Conduct DFMEAs, Design reviews, Control on drawing releases & vehicle Electrical & Electronics configuration.
Lead the forward engineering / Productivity Programs / Reliability improvement program for running / new platforms
Proper interactions and communications with suppliers and internal agencies to ensure timely delivery
Regular interactions with third party test agencies for Vehicle /sub system /aggregate prototype tests.
As Team Lead / Competancey Lead Ensure timely execution for deliverables.
Plan & support the prototype vehicle build for establishing the validation & reliability of Electrical & Electronics aggregates / systems.
Review and assign training needs for team members , Capital Item needs identifications ,
To Periodically review subordinate performance and identify development needs
To Organise relevant training for employee development
To develop risk taking capabilities and encourage actions to demonstrate the same
To foster an environment conducive for innovation & change
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
At least 9 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants should be Indian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent. Job role in Supervisor/Team Lead or equivalent.
Experience in automotive design and development of one or more of the following Electrical & Electronics aggregates & systems:
1) Instrument Cluster
2) Switches
3) Infotainment System, Radios, Navigation, Speakers & Antennas
4) FATC/HVAC Electrical & Electronics system
5) Body Control Module, Immobilizer,Alarm system.
6) ECU's for Power train, Chassis Systems, Active & Passive Safety Systems and it’s sensors
7) Vehicle level integration of Electrical & Electronics aggregates"
Knowledge of automotive electronic control systems - Functional, design aspects, application & integration.
Should have understanding of component related manufacturing Processes.
Working knowledge of problem solving techniques and design optimization, Benchmarking, Warranty Analysis, Cost Reduction, Value Engineering.
Strong analytical skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to lead the team to achieve the required functional / cost / weight / timing & quality objectives.
Awareness of 3D CAD packages such as CATIA V5, CAD data layouts, Digital Mock Ups (DMU)
"Simulation Hands ON -For aggregate development verification , Model Development , Test cases generation
Design optimization based on simualtion tools will be preferred."
Exposure to styling and aesthetics will be preferred (for relevant aggregates)
Knowledge of all legislative standards(AIS) and new regulations.(CMVR, EEC, ECE,ADR, FMVSS etc) shall be preferred
Knowledge about new technology and future trends in automotive vehicle.
Basic Knowledge of Six Sigma and Quality Tools e.g QFD , Tradeoff etc.
Should have good Presentation Skills
Should have good communication skills
Should have excellent people management and conflict management skills.
